Bar Stool Redo!

A quick & affordable diy project you can do too. Have an old bar stool that's in good shape but just needs an update? An easy way to update it is to recover it. It takes about 1/2 yard of your favorite fabric or whatever you have on hand. You can pull off the old fabric if its torn or leave it and just cover it over. :)

You need:

1/2 yard of fabric

Electric Stapler with Staples (23/10 or10mm that are 3/8 inch)

Scissors

Battery Powered Screwdriver

How to:

1. Unscrew the screws holding the seat on. (save them to reuse)

2. Lay your seat down on the fabric you selected and cut out a circle 4 inches longer than you need. (you can always cut away the excess when finished)

3. Begin to fold the fabric over the seat and start to staple on the back. Working your way around the perimeter of the seat. Once the seat is completely covered, you can trim away any extra fabric from the backside.

4. Flip your barstool onto the seat so gravity can help (upside down) and using the same screws begin screwing those back into to the seat. That's it! You are done. :)
