Enjoy a nice long soak in the tub, with a good book or glass of your favorite drink waiting on the bath shelf. Don't be intimidated, you can diy this shelf pretty easily.
What you need:
2 of 1x4 boards cut to length ( I preferred using 1 board but we didn't have 1 of an 8" board)
2 of 1x2 board cut to side length
8 wood screws & Screwdriver
Wood glue & a clamp (if you don't have a clamp, you could use tape or twine to hold your boards together).
Briwax stain is optional (its my favorite stain to work with and it ages nicely)
How to:
1. Measure how far across your tub is, so you know the length of your top 1x4 boards. (Home Depot can cut these or you can use a battery powered saw)
2. Measure the side length for your 2 - 1x2 's & cut.
3. Glue your 2 of your top 1x4's together (the top shelf & let dry)
4. Screw your side 1x2's into your 1x4 boards and you are finished!
5. Add stain or sealer is optional but it does protect against water splashes.
