Yes this diy project will take some elbow grease! I couldn't take looking at my ugly tiles floors any longer. I really didn't want to rip them up, after all they are in good shape but just so ugly. After researching, I found these vinyl planks. I had to enlist the help of my hubby to pull this one off and make sure we could do it. You can cover those ugly floors!
You need:
Self leveler
Vinyl flooring (with a cat to help during the process, lol see image below)
Underlayment flooring rolls
Handheld battery powered cutter or floor cutter.
Rubber Mallet & scrap board to tap with.
New 1/4 round or carefully reuse what you had down.
How To:
Take up your 1/4 round around the room (if you are very careful, you can just reuse it -cost savings)
Sweep your floor from debris
Mix & pour your self leveler - this evens up the floor and fills in grout cracks. Let it dry.
Roll out your underlayment and begin laying your vinyl planks. Stagger the planks as if it were a wood floor.
